               In the attainment of the objectives of the Republic Act (RA) No. 11223 or the Universal Health Care Act, and the RA No. 11032 or the Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018, the Department of Health (DOH) is currently aligning its rules and regulations in the establishment of hospitals in the Philippines with the aforementioned policies. Hence, HFSRB is conducting its policy development process to revise the Administrative Order (AO) No. 2006-0004 titled “Guidelines for the Issuance of Certificate of Need to Establish a New Hospital.”

               For the engagement of the public and involvement of the stakeholders concerned as partners on the provision of quality health care services in the country, we are requesting for your inputs and recommendations on the proposed new policy titled “New Guidelines in the Establishment of New Hospitals in the Philippines, Repealing Administrative Order No. 2006-0004 known as Guidelines for the Issuance of Certificate of Need to Establish a New Hospital.”  You may access a copy of the draft administrative order thru this link: https://tinyurl.com/Newguidelineshospital2023.
